Gemini Property
During the 2011 field season, Precipitate completed limited prospecting, silt and soil sampling and airborne geophysical surveys over the central and southwest portions of the Gemini property. 3D magnetic inversion modelling of the 2011 airborne mag data has been particularly useful as much of the property is covered by glacial till or soil. A test biogeochemical survey was carried out in spring 2012 and a follow-up recon program consisting of additional silt sampling, geological mapping and prospecting from the Kechika River (water access) or western side of the property was completed in August 2012. Final compilation and interpretations of the geological, geophysical and geochemical results of the surveys indicates a number of gold and pathfinder anomalies which warrant follow up work.
Horneline Property
Precipitate's wholly owned Horneline property lies on the southwestern corner of the Liard Plain, approximately 30 km southeast of the confluence of the Kechika and Turnagain Rivers, which are part of the Liard River watershed. The property is located about 30 km east of the Northern Rocky Mountain Trench Fault and lies within Kechika Trough, an elongate southerly extension of Selwyn Basin. Prospecting and sampling in 2011 has identified various gold and pathfinder anomalies which warrant follow up work.
